One Africa Logistics is a FMCG logistics service provider that have a key focus on fast moving consumer goods with relatively short shelf-life cycles – yet critical to be handled and distributed efficiently throughout Southern Africa.
Our focus is Warehousing, Order Fulfillment, Transport, Distribution as well as Sales and Merchandising to FMCG principles looking for a premium service offering that can actually be measured in detail.
Inspired by a lack of solid and focused driven service providers, the business was founded by Hein Scheppel and Yvonne Maitin during 2017 and has since evolved into a key service provider for established South African and international FMCG principles.
Our core values are embedded throughout the business when it comes to integrity, trust and transparent partnerships. For us it is so much more that just looking after products, delivering them from point A to B. We own every part of the process, and we are super proud of our service offerings and value that we add to supply chains globally and within South Africa.

Heinrich Scheppel
Executive Operations
Heinrich has over 20 years’ experience in local and complex international logistics operations. Having worked locally and offshore for large multinational companies including the Value Logistics Group in South Africa, Ford Motor Company manufacturing, Estee Lauder Companies and The Al Jaber Group in the United Arab Emirates. Heinrich brings invaluable experience to the business operations.
He is well versed in supply chain optimization, manufacturing, distribution center operations and optimization, ERP systems implementation and known for revolutionary recognized FMCG transport solutions. Heinrich’s core focus is operations and with his wealth of experience within the South African retail space, he brings solid leadership and solutions to complex projects and helping to shape cost effective solutions to our business partners.
Yvonne Maitin
Executive Finance
Yvonne has broad experience gained over 20 years in financial services across private equity investment management, private debt, investment banking, stockbroking and derivatives structuring. She later joined the Liberty group where she was a Divisional Director at Libfin involved in on-balance sheet private equity, senior debt & credit investments, and distribution.
Yvonne has a solid foundation formed in Macro-Economic research, analysis and econometric modelling while serving as an Economic analyst at Credit Suisse. She has strong leadership and governance experience gained from serving on several boards.
She currently serves on various boards including the SA Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SAVCA) and ABSA’s flagship ETF board. She is also currently the Vice President of the Black Business Council.
